Map is available as a content type that you can add to home pages, hub pages, project pages, and update pages. It lets you provide geographic context to residents without asking them to respond. This article explains how to add a map to a content page and configure its layers and points of interest.

Adding a Map to a Content Page

  1. Ensure you are logged in to Zencity.
  2. Navigate to 'Communicate' and click on 'Content Pages'.
  3. Open the content page you want to edit.
  4. In the Content sidebar on the right, locate 'Map' and drag it into the desired position on your page.
  5. The configuration modal opens.
  6. Optionally, enter a block heading in the 'Block Heading' field.
  7. Adjust the map to set the default geographic view (center and zoom level).
  8. Under 'Settings', choose the map size: Small, Medium, or Large.
  9. Click 'Save'.

Note: The map size setting (Small, Medium, Large) only applies in single-column page layouts.

Note: Residents can interact with map layers and points of interest on a Map content type but cannot place pins, draw lines, or draw shapes.

Configuring Map Layers and Points of Interest

To add layers or points of interest, click 'Add Map Layer' from within the configuration modal. See 'Adding Map Layers' and 'Enhanced Points of Interest' for full configuration instructions.
