Activity Settings and Teaser for a Collaborative Map Activity

This article explains how to configure the schedule and visibility of your Collaborative Map Activity and how to customize the teaser card that promotes it across the platform.

Activity Settings

  1. Ensure you are logged in to Zencity.
  2. Navigate to your Collaborative Map Activity in the Activities listing screen and click 'Edit'.
  3. Click on the 'Settings' tab.
  4. Set the start date and time for when the activity should go live.
  5. Set the end date and time for when the activity should close.
  6. Choose the pages you want to advertise on.
  7. Configure social sharing options under 'General Settings'.
  8. Add any redirects under the 'Redirects' section.

Configuring the Teaser

The teaser is the card that promotes your Collaborative Map Activity across the platform. By default, it includes a map thumbnail placeholder, the activity title, a short description, and a CTA button.

To customize the teaser:

  1. Select the Teaser page from the page sidebar on the left.
  2. To override the headline, click in the 'Headline' field and enter your custom text.
  3. To override the description, click in the 'Description' field and enter your custom text.
  4. To override the image, click 'Choose an image' and upload a custom image.
  5. To override the button label, click in the 'Button Label' field and enter your custom text.
  6. Add tags to categorize the activity using the 'Tags' field.
