Adding an idea to a public board

  1. Ensure you are logged in to Zencity Engage.

  2. Navigate to your project page, then go to your 'Public Boards' tab and select the idea board that you want to view.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

  4. Click on the ‘View’ button that is located in the bottom right hand corner.
    Note: You can only view the community member facing view of a public board that has been set to 'Active' and is 'Publicly Advertised'. 

  5. Enter your idea in the search bar. 

  6. If there is already an idea similar to yours, it will appear below. You can add to that existing idea if it aligns with yours.

  7. If you want to add a new idea, click on the ‘Add new idea’ button. 

  8. Give a brief description of your idea in the ‘Describe your idea’ text box.

  9. Check the ‘Agree to terms and conditions’ checkbox. 

  10. Click on the ‘Submit idea’ button. 

  11. Your idea will now be displayed on the public board.
