Adding a comment to a comment thread on an idea

  • Only users with ‘Owner’ or ‘Builder’ status can add a comment to a comment thread on an idea on a public board
  1. Ensure you are logged in to Zencity Engage.

  2. Navigate to your project page, then go to your 'Public Boards' tab and select the public board that you want to view.

  3. Scroll to the top of the page. 

  4. Click on the ‘View’ button that is located in the top right hand corner.
    Note: You can only view the community member facing view of an idea board that has been set to 'Active' and is 'Publicly Advertised'.

  5. You are now on the community member facing view of a public board. Click on the idea card that you want to a comment thread to. 
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and add your comment in the comment box and hit the 'Post' button.
