Will links/QR codes pointing to Commonplace projects still work?
Yes! Any links to Commonplace projects, including the pages within those projects, will be automatically redirected to the corresponding page in Zencity. The same also applies to QR codes, links with UTM codes attached, etc.
Has all my content and data been migrated?
Your projects have been migrated into a format that matches Commonplace as closely as possible. While there are some differences in appearance and functionality between the two platforms, we have made every effort to ensure that nothing is lost.
All content (text, images, uploaded files, etc.) and data (survey responses, demographic data, internal and external users, and contact preferences) have been migrated into Zencity’s projects and surveys.
If you spot any places where content is missing or doesn’t look correct, please let us know by contacting support@zencity.io.
Is Zencity GDPR compliant?
Yes - the Zencity platform is fully compliant with UK GDPR and the Data Use and Access Act 2025. For more information please see our Privacy Policy.
What is the Zencity URL format?
URLs in Zencity use the following format:
https://engage.zencity.io/{organisation-name}/en-GB/projects/{project-name}
For migrated projects, {project-name} will usually match the subdomain of your old Commonplace site.
Are responses public in Zencity?
Survey responses are not public in Zencity. This is the case even if responses were previously visible in Commonplace.
We encourage you to publish engagement summary reports once your survey closes in order to feed back to residents on the results.
The only exception is collaborative activities such as the collaborative map, where responses are public.
