Overview
The Resident Hub (also known as Contacts) is Zencity’s new Resident Communications Management Platform, designed to help local governments manage their lists of residents and groups in one centralized place. With the Resident Hub, you can segment residents by characteristics (such as area, demographics, or interests), manage subscriptions and sign-ups, and send targeted communications through Zencity Newsletters and other channels.
Why We Built It
Cities communicate with residents in many ways — newsletters, surveys, event updates, and more. Until now, contact management lived in different places. The Resident Hub (aka Contacts) unifies all these lists into one place, making it easier to:
• Target the right residents for any message or initiative
• Build richer connections using survey and signup data
• Support Zencity Newsletters and surveys seamlessly
Internally, it also strengthens your city’s data ecosystem by enriching resident lists with inputs from Zencity’s Engage, Community Pulse, and Ask tools — creating a powerful feedback loop for better engagement.

How to Access
Resident Hub is being rolled out by invitation. Your Customer Success Manager can help enable it for your account. Once activated, you’ll see the Resident Hub available under your Communicate tab.
Tips & Notes
• Focus on communication flows, not CRM management — the Hub is built for messaging, not for record keeping.
• Newsletter users will benefit most immediately from this new capability.
