Understanding the Details

System Processing

Taking a questionnaire offline involves coordinating multiple system components to ensure participant access is properly disabled while maintaining data integrity. This process typically completes within moments but may occasionally take longer during high system load.

Response Data Integrity

The offline process is designed to protect response data integrity. All existing responses remain in their original state, and the system maintains complete data consistency throughout the offline period and subsequent republishing.

Access Control During Offline

When offline, questionnaires become inaccessible through all participant channels including direct links, embedded widgets, and public pages. However, administrative access remains fully functional, allowing continued management and content updates.

Important Notes

Data Preservation: Taking questionnaires offline never affects collected response data. All participant responses remain secure and accessible throughout the offline period.

Immediate Effect: The offline process takes effect immediately, stopping new participant access as soon as the system processes the request.

Editing Freedom: While offline, you can make any desired changes to content, settings, or configuration without restriction.

Republishing Flexibility: Questionnaires can be republished from offline status at any time, with no limitations on timing or frequency.

Error Recovery: If taking offline fails, the TRY AGAIN option provides immediate retry capability without losing any work or settings.
