Efficiently manage your engagement activities using the quick action menu available on each activity in the Activities listing screen. These actions provide fast access to common tasks like editing questionnaires, viewing results, sharing links, and managing activity lifecycle without navigating to separate pages.

Quick Steps

  1. Navigate to Ask > Surveys > Build select your survey

  2. Locate the activity you want to work with
  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right side of the activity row

  5. The system will execute the action or redirect you to the relevant screen

Accessing Quick Actions

Locate the Action Menu Each activity row in the Activities listing includes a three-dot menu (⋮) icon on the right side. Click this icon to open the quick action dropdown menu with available options for that specific activity.

Action Availability The available actions may vary depending on the activity type, status, and your user permissions. Some actions may not be available for certain activity states or user roles.

Available Quick Actions

Edit Purpose: Access the questionnaire content and structure for modifications Action: Takes you directly to the Questionnaire Builder editor for the selected activity Use When: You need to modify questions, add content, adjust settings, or update any aspect of the questionnaire structure Best For: Content updates, question changes, adding new sections, or structural modifications

Results & Analysis Purpose: View response data and analytical insights from the activity Action: Redirects you to the Results and Analysis screen for the selected activity Use When: You want to review responses, analyze trends, generate reports, or assess engagement outcomes Best For: Data review, report generation, performance assessment, and decision-making support

Share Purpose: Obtain the public web link for distributing the questionnaire Action: Copies the shareable weblink for the questionnaire to your clipboard Use When: You need to distribute the questionnaire via email, social media, websites, or other communication channels Best For: Public distribution, embedding in websites, including in newsletters, or sharing via social platforms

Preview Purpose: Test the questionnaire experience before making it live Action: Launches a preview of your questionnaire as it would appear to respondents Use When: You want to review the questionnaire flow, check formatting, test functionality, or ensure quality before publication Best For: Quality assurance, stakeholder review, final testing, and user experience validation

Make a Copy Purpose: Create a duplicate of the activity for reuse or modification Action: Makes a complete copy of the activity and adds it to the Activities listing screen Use When: You want to create similar questionnaires, use an existing activity as a template, or make variations for different audiences Best For: Version management, adapting questionnaires for different projects, or A/B testing

Archive Purpose: Remove completed activities from active view while preserving data Action: Archives the activity and removes it from the main Activities listing screen Use When: The activity is completed, no longer needed for active management, or you want to declutter the active activities list Best For: Lifecycle management, organizing completed projects, maintaining clean active lists, and long-term storage

Manage Access Purpose: Control who can view, edit, or manage the activity Action: Redirects to the Manage Access tab where you can configure user permissions Use When: You need to add collaborators, change permissions, restrict access, or manage team involvement Best For: Collaboration setup, permission management, security control, and team coordination

Regular Preview Testing Use the Preview action frequently during questionnaire development to catch issues early and ensure optimal user experience.
