Publishing, Editing and Archiving a Live Engagement

  1. Ensure you are logged in to Zencity Engage.

  2. Navigate to your project page and select the project that you want to edit an engagement on, click on the ‘Engagement’ tab and then select the live engagement that you want to edit.  

  3. In the top right hand side of the screen you will see status indicators that will tell you what state your live engagement is in. 

  4.  To publish a live engagement once you have added all of your content, click on the publish button in the top right hand corner.

  5. Once you have hit the publish button you will receive an alert that let's you know your live engagement is being published. This should only take a few minutes. Please refresh your screen shortly after you have hit the publish button to see the state of your live engagement. If you want your live engagement to be publicly visible (displayed on your project page) ensure that you check the 'publicly advertised' checkbox at the bottom of the page.

  6. If your live engagement fails to publish you will receive a notification. Simply click on the publish button again to reinitiate the process. If the issue persists please reach out to our support team.

  7. To make changes to your live engagement once it has been published click on the edit button (pencil icon) which will allow you to make changes whilst your engagement is still online/published.

  8. Once you have made your changes and hit the save button you will need to republish it for them to take effect. You will also receive a notification that you have unsaved changes.

  9. To take your live engagement offline (unpublish it) click on the take offline button at the top of the screen. If you want to edit your live engagement after taking it offline click on the edit button (pencil icon), make your changes and republish your engagement.

  10. To archive your live engagement once it has finished, scroll to the bottom of the and click on the Archive button at the top of the screen. This will remove the live engagement from your project listing page and results screens but you will still have access to any reports that were generated. Please note: this action can not be undone. So only use this option once you no longer need access to the results screens.
