Whether you are starting a report from scratch or using a report template, the Zencity Report Builder allows for complete flexibility to customize the elements of your report. In this article, we'll walk through how to incorporate Engage data into your report.
Click the "+ Add Data" button at the top left of the Report Builder to expand the "Add Data" sidebar, and select "Engage" to proceed.
All question visualizations (eg. bar charts, pie charts, map pin drops) that are available to you within the engagement's Results & Analysis tab can be added to a report.
COMING SOON: Open-ended responses will be available to add.
How to Add Engagement Results
Results of Active or Closed engagements within Active or Finished Projects can be added to a report.
TIP: If your engagement is in Draft or Archived status, or it is part of a Project that is in Draft or Archived status, you will not see it as an option in the Report Builder. Update the status of the project and engagement accordingly in order to include the engagement's data in a report.
Using the drop-down options in the "Add Data" sidebar, select your Organization, the name of the Engagement, and the Question you'd like to add results for. You will select one question at a time to add its results to the report.
Once you have selected the question, use the "+" button next to "Question Results" to add it to the report.
You can also add a general widget displaying the name of the engagement, the date range of responses, the total number of submissions (i.e. separate participants), and the total number of responses (i.e. the number of answers/response options submitted in total), like this one:
To add this widget, select "Dashboard Widgets" and then click the "+" button at the top right of the widget.
Filtering Engagement Results
Within the "Engage" sidebar, you'll notice a "Filters" button.Click on the "Filters" button to expand the options and make your selections.
Toggle on "Complete Only" to include only complete submissions (i.e. submissions from participants who clicked through to the final page of the engagement without dropping out).
Toggle on "Deduplication" to include only those submissions coming from unique participants. Unique participants are identified by a Digital Fingerprint, and results consisting of duplicate Digital Fingerprints will not be included.
