Overview
The PI dashboard has been updated to make it easier to understand how Post Interaction (PI) survey results change over time.
You can now explore trends not only at the overall score level, but also for individual aspects and questions, using clearer time comparisons and a simplified date selection experience.
These improvements help teams better diagnose what’s driving PI results and track progress more confidently.
Where to Find the Updated Dashboard
The updated PI dashboard is available when viewing results for a Post Interaction survey.
To access it:
- Open the left-hand toolbar.
- Go to Ask > Surveys.
- Select a Post Interaction survey from the list.
- Navigate to the survey results view.
What’s New
Trends at Every Level
You can now view PI scores over time at multiple levels:
- Overall PI score
- Aspect-level scores
- Individual question scores
This allows you to see how specific aspects or questions change over time and better understand what’s contributing to overall performance trends.
Clearer Time Comparisons with Grouping
A new Group by dropdown lets you compare results across common time intervals, based on your selected date range.
Available groupings include:
- Week over week
- Month over month
- Quarter over quarter
- Other common intervals aligned with your selected time period
Grouping is automatically structured around the chosen date range, making comparisons clearer and more consistent.
Simplified Time Period Selection
The time period selector has been standardized to reduce friction and support ongoing analysis. You can now choose from:
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last 90 days
- Last 365 days
- A custom date range
The selected time period works together with the Group by setting to produce clear, structured trend views.
How the Time Period and Grouping Work Together
The time period and grouping selections are designed to be used together:
- Select a time period (for example, last 90 days).
- Choose how results should be grouped (for example, month over month).
- Review trends at the overall, aspect, or question level using consistent time logic.
This removes ambiguity and helps ensure trends are interpreted consistently across the dashboard.
Why This Matters
Post Interaction surveys are used to monitor performance and support operational improvement—not just to report a single score.
With these updates, you can:
- Identify which aspects or questions are driving changes in overall PI scores
- Track whether operational changes are having the intended impact
- Compare performance across familiar time intervals
- Communicate results and trends more clearly to stakeholders
By improving visibility and consistency, the PI dashboard becomes a more actionable and reliable tool for day-to-day performance analysis.
