Sifting through thousands of data points can be a cumbersome process. In order to reduce the time and effort you spend looking for value, we've implemented a unique relevance score for your datta items.
How is relevance determined?
Zencity's relevance score is determined by an algorithm built for local governments, that identifies how relevant an item might be for local governments, and is also affected by variables such as the organization type (City, County, Law enforcement agency), and the data type (News article, Posts).
Relevance can also be affected based on specific projects and terms you are interested in! To make sure your dashboard relevance includes those terms, reach out to our support team using the chat.
How can I use the relevance score?
Relevance score is not presented per item, but you can use it to sort your Stories feed and surface the most important and relevant stories to the top. Do so by clicking on the "sort by" menu in the stories tab, and choose "relevance".
You can also use this sorting option when creating a report template which will include a predetermined number of stories. To do so, when adding data to your report, in the Stories section, click on "Sort by" and choose the Relevance option.
