How the AI Topic Summary Works

The AI summary is generated from social media conversations about the topic during the last 7 days. It collects posts and interactions tagged to the topic, analyzes recurring themes and sentiment patterns, selects representative quotes that illustrate key points and summarizes the discourse on a daily basis.

What is the summary covers: The summary is limited to social media data only. Survey responses, news articles, and direct channel feedback are not included in the summary, though they do appear in the Feed and Signal Tracker.

Who can view the data: Topic Dashboards are currently available only to clients with the Listen module active. Future releases will expand access to clients with other module combinations.

limitations and Requirements

Data freshness: The summary covers the last 7 days only, regardless of your selected time range filter

Data threshold: The general summary generation requires at least 3 topics with a successful per-topic summary in the last 7 days. Each of those per-topic summaries requires more than 152 items.
