Adding & Editing a Mixed List

You can add a mixed list  to display a curated selection of teasers directly on your Content Page. Unlike other feeds, a mixed list lets you hand-pick items from across your site — projects, updates, hub pages, and engagement activities — and present them together in a single section.

Adding a Mixed List

Ensure you are logged in to Zencity Engage.

Navigate to Communicate > Content Pages and open the page you would like to edit.

Click into the Build tab.

From the right-hand sidebar locate Mixed List.

Drag and drop the Mixed List block onto your page where you would like the feed to appear.

Unlike auto-populating feeds, a mixed list does not fill in automatically. You choose exactly which items appear, so the section stays empty until you add content.

Editing a Mixed List 

Click directly on the Mixed List section within the page builder to open its settings.

From here, you may edit:

• Block Heading — the title shown above the feed (for example, Featured Content)

• Desktop Layout — toggle between Grid View and List View to control how items are arranged on desktop

• Selected Items — the specific content that appears in the feed. You can drag 

Adding items to the list

Use the Search items to add... field to find content, or click the dropdown to browse. Results are grouped by type, including Updates and Engagement Activities.

Click + Add next to any item to include it in your feed. Each item you add appears under Selected Items, and the counter updates to reflect how many you have chosen.

You can mix content types freely — projects, updates, hubs, and engagement activities can all appear in the same list.

When you are finished, click Save to apply your changes, or Cancel to discard them.

If you are navigating away from the page, remember to click the Save button located at the top of the page.
