Categories gives you the ability to group certain projects together by a category and restrict user access within it. This allows multiple departments to have their own grouping of projects with their own users. Assigning projects to a specific category, such as Planning or Parks & Recreation, will also group those projects together on your home screen which will make it easier for community members to view all projects related to specific departments or initiatives.
