Generating a New Password Link

If a user is having requires a new password link because their old confirmation link has expired or they are having trouble resetting their password, you can now generate a new link and send it to the user. 

  • Only users with ‘Owner’ status are able to generate a new password link

To create a new user, the administrative user must:

1. Ensure you are logged in to Zencity Engage

2. Navigate to 'Manage Users' on the Menu

3. You'll arrive on a User listing page. If a user has never confirmed their account, you will see a heading called 'Generate New Password Link'. Click on the link. 

4. Once you have clicked on the link, the heading will change to 'Copy Confirmation Link'. Click on that again. You have now copied the link and you can paste it into an email to send to the user. 


5. If a user has already confirmed their account but is having trouble resetting their password you can generate a password reset link. You will see a heading called 'Generate Password Reset Link'. Click on the link

6.  Once you have clicked on the link, the heading will change to 'Copy Password Reset Link'. Click on that again. You have now copied the link and you can paste it into an email to send to the user.
